Shopping at HomeGoods

Last week was intense, but thankfully our Lord always provides us with strength and peace so we can continue doing the wonderful things He has planned for our lives. I have some wonderful posts for you coming up, so thanks for sticking around!

Today I thought it'd be fun to share some pictures of my recent visit to HomeGoods. As you know, HomeGoods has become the IT store for designers and decorators shopping on a budget, as you can always find great pieces at really good prices. Like this cane back chair with a linen covered seat. Isn't it gorgeous?? A few of these surrounding a round, thick wooden pedestal type dining table would look amazing. They would also work perfectly well in a living room as extra seating, or on both sides of an entry table in a foyer. They would even look great in a bedroom or dressing room! I may have to put on a little presentation for hubby explaining why we need to change our dining chairs...

This photo's not that great, but I wanted to show you these pretty Ikat bins. Perfect for storing my design magazines.

One of my favorite things about HomeGoods is the amazing variety of lamps they carry. I've never seen one cost more than $100, which is very rare. Above, very Shabby Chic. How cute is that?

For our living room side table I'm thinking of getting something like this. I love how polished it looks. This one had a shade which resembled crocodile skin, which was kinda cool.

I have to say that my favorites are always the Lucite lamps. We already have a Lucite table lamp in the bedroom, so I'm not sure if we should get the same for the living room. I'm still on the fence about that one.

How great would this look in an entryway? Love the mirrored doors!

Such a cool looking ottoman. Burlap with a nailhead trim. Put a big tray on top and use it as a coffee table, and if you're having a party, voila! Extra seating.

This turquoise half moon table would be perfect for a small apartment entryway.

And finally, a side table I really liked. It looks so interesting, it would also add an unexpected touch of glamour. I hope you guys liked this little shopping tour! Will let you know which pieces I end up buying for our house. See ya tomorrow!
